Terms of website use ticket purchase and event entry

Last updated 16 September 2026

Event Organiser Web3 Australia Group Pty Ltd ABN 53 672 770 204 trading as MyMoney Expo

These Terms and Conditions apply when you use mymoneyexpo.com, register for or purchase a ticket to MyMoney Expo, attend the event, or interact with event features and services. They are intended to be read with the Privacy Policy and any ticket-specific conditions shown during checkout. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

1 Acceptance of these Terms

By using the website, submitting a form, registering for a ticket, purchasing a ticket or entering MyMoney Expo, you agree to these Terms. If you register or purchase for another person, you must ensure that person receives and agrees to the Terms that apply to their attendance.

If you do not agree, you should not use the website or complete a registration or purchase. Separate conditions may apply to competitions, promotions, workshops, side events, exhibitor offers or third-party services. If there is an inconsistency, the specific conditions for that activity apply to the extent of the inconsistency.

2 About MyMoney Expo

MyMoney Expo is organised by Web3 Australia Group Pty Ltd ABN 53 672 770 204. The 2026 event is scheduled for 28 and 29 November 2026 at ICC Sydney, 14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000.

References to we, us, our or the Organiser mean Web3 Australia Group Pty Ltd. References to you mean a website visitor, registrant, ticket holder, attendee or other person using our services.

3 Website information and availability

We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but event information develops over time. Speaker line-ups, exhibitors, session titles, schedules, room allocations, ticket availability and other details may change. The website may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, security or reasons outside our reasonable control.

You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, interfere with its operation, scrape or harvest data without permission, impersonate another person, or use the website for unlawful, misleading or abusive activity.

4 Registration and attendee details

You must provide accurate, current and complete information. Each attendee should use a unique email address so that tickets, updates and entry records can be correctly matched. You must promptly tell us if relevant registration information changes.

You are responsible for safeguarding your ticket and QR code. Do not publish or share a ticket code in a way that may allow unauthorised use. We may request identification at entry where reasonably necessary to verify a registration, age requirement, concession or ticket entitlement.

5 Tickets prices and payment

Tickets are supplied by the Organiser through its authorised ticketing provider. Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Any booking, payment or processing fee will be disclosed before purchase.

Payment processing may be provided by third parties, including the ticketing platform and its payment processor. Their terms and privacy practices may also apply. A ticket is valid only if obtained through an authorised channel and not cancelled, refunded, duplicated, fraudulently obtained or otherwise invalidated.

6 Transfers resale and ticket misuse

A ticket may only be transferred where the ticket type and ticketing system permit it and any required attendee details are updated before the applicable deadline. Contact [email protected] before the event if you need assistance.

Tickets must not be resold in breach of applicable law, used for unauthorised advertising, promotions or competitions, or offered through misleading or unauthorised channels. We may cancel a ticket that we reasonably believe has been obtained or used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

7 Refunds cancellations postponements and changes

Unless required by law or stated otherwise for a particular ticket, purchases are final and change-of-mind refunds are not offered. This does not limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

If we cancel the event, we will provide the remedy required by law and communicate the available process to affected ticket holders. If the event is postponed, a ticket will generally remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Where the law requires another remedy, that remedy will apply.

We may make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers, exhibitors, venue spaces, session capacity, format or operating hours. If the Organiser makes a major change, attendee rights will be assessed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the circumstances of the change.

The Organiser is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other third-party costs except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Attendees should consider flexible arrangements and appropriate insurance.

8 Event entry and venue requirements

Entry is subject to a valid ticket, these Terms, any published attendee code of conduct, and reasonable directions of the Organiser, venue operator and security personnel. Venue conditions, security screening, bag restrictions, prohibited items, responsible service of alcohol rules and emergency procedures also apply.

We may refuse entry or require a person to leave where reasonably necessary for safety, security, capacity management, legal compliance or the proper operation of the event, including for threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated, unsafe, disruptive or unlawful conduct. No refund is required where entry is refused or a person is removed because of their breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

9 Health safety accessibility and personal property

You must take reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others, follow emergency and safety directions, and tell event or venue staff promptly about hazards or incidents. If you require accessibility support, contact us in advance where possible so arrangements can be discussed with the venue.

You are responsible for personal property brought to the event. Lost property may be handled by the venue. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss, theft or damage that is not caused by our failure to exercise due care and skill or another breach of law.

10 Photography filming and recordings

Photography, audio recording and filming may occur throughout MyMoney Expo. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in crowd, stage, networking or exhibition footage used for event reporting, archival, promotional and marketing purposes.

Where we focus on an identifiable individual for an interview, testimonial or featured image, we will seek any additional permission reasonably required. If you have a concern about being photographed or filmed, contact us before the event or speak to event staff on arrival. You must respect any session-specific restrictions on attendee photography or recording.

11 Badge scanning and exhibitors

Exhibitors and sponsors are independent organisations. If you ask an exhibitor to scan your badge or QR code, complete its form, enter its competition or otherwise provide your details, you are choosing to share information with that organisation. Its own privacy policy and terms will govern its subsequent use of the information.

We do not endorse every statement, product, service or offer made by an exhibitor, sponsor, speaker or other attendee. You should make your own enquiries before relying on or acquiring a third-party product or service.

12 Educational and financial information disclaimer

MyMoney Expo provides general education and information. Event content does not constitute personal financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs.

Views expressed by speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and attendees are their own and may not reflect the Organiser’s views. Markets and investments involve risk, including possible loss. Before acting, consider whether information is appropriate for your circumstances and obtain advice from an appropriately qualified and, where required, licensed professional. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

13 Intellectual property

The website and event materials, including branding, text, graphics, photographs, video, programme content and design, are owned by or licensed to the Organiser and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use publicly available website material for personal, non-commercial information purposes only.

You must not reproduce, adapt, distribute, commercially exploit, record or publish substantial event or website content without permission, except where permitted by law. MyMoney Expo names, logos and visual identity must not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation without written approval.

14 User submissions

If you submit an enquiry, application, testimonial, photograph, comment or other material, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is not unlawful, defamatory, misleading, confidential to another person or infringing. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use the material for the purpose for which it was submitted and for reasonable administration, assessment or promotion connected with that purpose.

We are not obliged to publish, accept or retain a submission and may remove website material where reasonably necessary.

15 Privacy and communications

We handle personal information in accordance with the MyMoney Expo Privacy Policy. Transactional and operational messages may be sent where necessary to administer a registration, ticket or event. Marketing communications will include an unsubscribe method where required by law.

The website may use cookies, analytics and advertising technologies as described in the Privacy Policy. Third-party websites linked from our website are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

16 Consumer guarantees and liability

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability where doing so would be unlawful.

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied terms and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of profit or loss arising from reliance on third-party statements or services. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the reasonable cost of having it supplied again.

Any limitation is subject to the nature of the service, the loss suffered, the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable law.

17 Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for loss or damage reasonably suffered by us because of your unlawful conduct, fraud, wilful misconduct, infringement of another person’s rights or material breach of these Terms. This clause does not require you to indemnify us for loss caused by our negligence, breach of law or wrongful act.

18 Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the event, website, business practices or law. The current version will be published on the website with its last updated date. Terms applying to a completed ticket purchase will not be changed retrospectively in a way that unfairly removes accrued rights.

19 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them. This does not prevent a consumer from exercising rights available under other applicable Australian laws.
